Mom's Marketplace reserves the right to not accept items and to pull items we find unsuitable off the floor at any time. We also reserve the right to not accept items that we consider to be excessively overpriced.
As stated in consignor agreement you sign during registration process, Moms Marketplace is not responsible for lost, damaged, stolen or affected by any act of God (tornado, damaging winds, etc).
Supplies you will need
Card stock paper (white only please)
Hangers
Safety pins (medium & large sizes...no itty bitty pins!)
Scotch/Magic Tape
Clear Packing Tape
Zip Ties or String
Clear Wrap (Seran/Cling/Shrink)
Ziploc type baggies
Tagging Gun (if you choose, not required)*
If you use a tagging gun be sure tag goes through label inside garment. DO NOT go through the fabric. This will ruin your garment.
What NOT to sell
- Items with stains, holes, missing buttons or other missing parts.
- Items with odors (smoke or pet).
- Items with monogramms (3 letters).
- Used bottle nipples (bottles are ok, take nipples out).
- Stuffed Animals, uness they are battery operated.
- "Grab bags" of toys (those from happy meals, etc...). Any toys missing pieces.
- ANY item that has been recalled. See website for link to government recall page.
- Anything not related to children.

What you CAN sell
Clothing – Children’s sizes
Newborn to Size 18
Sizes Newborn to 18, NO LIMIT.
NO Juniors (even sized 1,3,5,7,etc...)
- Spring /Summer sales must be warm weather clothing such as shorts, T-shirts, short sleeve dresses, Easter outfits, swim suits, light weight sweaters & jackets, etc. Denim blue jeans & Khaki pants are accepted at all sales.
- Fall/Winter sales must be cool/cold weather clothing such as pants, long sleeve shirts & dresses, coats, Halloween costumes & outfits, Christmas outfits, etc.
- Use numerical sizes Newborn through Size 18 for all children’s clothing. IF YOU USE SMALL, MEDIUM, LARGE FOR YOUR CHILDREN’S CLOTHING YOU WILL BE ASKED TO REDO YOUR TAGS. A good way to determine is “what size/age was my child wearing when they wore this?” or look at an online clothing chart.
- We highly recommend ironing any items that need it. They will sell better.
- Hang with garment facing you and hook to the LEFT (SEE DIAGRAM).

- Place tag right side when looking at front of item. If wearing the item, the tag would be on the left, over the heart.
- Pants can be hung on shirt hangers by safety pinning them to the top, see diagram above. Plastic skirt/pants hangers will not be accepted, unless they have metal clips to hold clothing.
- If you do not have pants hangers with METAL clips, use a shirt hanger and safety pin pants and skirts, opened lengthwise, at the waist to the TOP of a regular hanger.
PANT HANGERS THAT ARE ALL PLASTIC ARE NOT EXCEPTED. THEY MUST HAVE METAL CLIP!!!
SEE PICTURE BELOW. THE HANGERS IN PICTURES BELOW ARE ACCEPTED.


CLOTHING – MATERNITY
*LIMIT 5*
- Season appropriate only.
- Limit 5 items.
- Use sizes small, medium, large and x-large.
SHOES
NO LIMIT
Secure each pair of shoes together with a string/ribbon/zip ties.
Zip ties work the best!
- Using a safety pin, secure your tag to the string, ribbon/zip tie or shoe lace.
- Put a piece of masking tape on bottom of each shoe with your code # (please take the time to do this step for shoes as they are the most likely to get separated).
- DO NOT put shoes in ziploc bag unless there is no other way to secure together.
BABY EQUIPMENT
Strollers, High Chairs, Exersaucers, Bouncy Seats, Play Gyms, etc...
- These items need to be clean and in proper operating condition.
- If item requires batteries, it must have working batteries.
- Tag can be placed with scotch tape to plastic part of item or safety pinned to fabric.
Car Seats
- Car seats must be 5 years old or less (date can be found on typically on the white label where the serial # is located).
- Car seat must have instruction manual. If you don't have original, you should be able to print the manufactuers website (you will need model #).
- These rules do not apply to booster seats (seats without straps)
ACCESSORIES
Hats, socks, bows, belts, ties, bibs, burpcloths, nursing items (breast pumps, boppy pillows), bottles
- These items need to be clean.
- Underwear/Panties are only accepted in new, unopened packages.
- Pacifiers are only accepted in new, unopened packages.
- Bottle nipples only accepted in new, unopened packages.
- Appropriate season, please. IE: no Christmas bibs at the Spring sales.
- They can be left loose or put in zip loc type bags. If left loose and are a pair or selling as a group, secure together well with shrink wrap or safety pins.
- If in zip bag or shrink wrap, place tag on the OUTSIDE of bag with single piece of scotch tape.
TOYS
(games, puzzles & book are a separate category and have no limit)
- Toys need to be clean and have working batteries.
- Double check for recalled items. For ALL toys and baby equipment and furniture (esp. cribs), check the recall website for each item.
- Toys can be left loose if only one piece.
- Toys with multiple pieces MUST be placed in zip loc bags (they make all different sizes nowadays) or shrink wrapped together.
- Toys with multiple pieces will not be accepted if only secured together with tape.
- Place tag to outside of toy or bag/wrap with a single piece of scotch tape.
BEDDING & DÉCOR
- Only child (NB thru Teen) bedding and decor accepted.
- All bedding should be in bags to prevent damage. Buy extra large zip type bags or space saver bags. NO SHRINK WRAP for these items. We will take each bedding item out to check it.
- Blankets, sheets, etc... should also be in bags to prevent damage.
- We are not responsible for broken items. You might want to think twice about a decor item that is breakable.
- Place tag on outside of bag with single piece of scotch tape.
- If not in bag, you can safety pin to fabric.
- Absolutely no soiled, stained or items with bad odors.
BOOKS, GAMES & PUZZLES
- Individual books - secure tag to back of book.
- Multiple books - secure together with string or rubberbands (cris-cross). Place tag on bundle of books.
- Use shrink wrap/seran wrap or Ziploc for puzzles or any games with multiple pieces .
Furniture
- Baby & Children’s furniture only.
- This includes cribs, changing tables, rockers, dressers, toddler bed, etc.
- Furniture must be in good condition.
